Juan Gavilanes The Saga Begins

Well this is my first time writing a blog so please don't hate on it too much. Well let me start off, my name is Juan Gavilanes and I'm 22 yrs old. I was raised in Williamsburg Brooklyn.
I'm not really a normal person to most people usually due to the fact that I dont agree with the lifestyle in this country. I as a small boy living in the streets didnt know how society tries to on a daily basis keep us incarcerated in our homes. With their marketing strategies huge companies tries to keep us down. Try to brainwash us into thinking that there is nothing wrong with staying home after work stuck on a Tv watching watch on day after day after day. I loved watching Tv dont get me wrong. Its just as I grew up I noticed i'm missing out on a lot of things life has to offer. Tv in a way tries to in a way make us believe how were supposed to live as human beings. That were supposed to buy the latest brands of clothing or that we must get the new electronics appliances that came on the market in order to feel good or to "keep up" with whats going on. We see a celebrity promote a product or a line of clothing and our brainwashed minds tell us " Oh I have to get that!". But really sometimes you have to just stop and wonder and ask yourself " What am I doing? Where is my uniqueness? Who really am I?" They may seem like simple questions but the real answers may leave you shocked. You in fact realize that you've been manipulated into buying all this crap. You may think at this point that I'm writing all of this for nothing but I'll give you an example. Lets take ipod the handheld mp3 player from macintosh as our example. Ok they came out with ipod not a long while ago. It was a really cool mp3 player that can store alot of songs. People stormed to get one. Ok everybody's happy in getting one they know that they have the ultimate in music appliances right ?........wrong. Not too soon after that ipod came out with another product , the ipod mini. You would think that this would be a totally different product that would provide something new. Unfortunately the only different things to it was that it got smaller. It was really smaller than the old one and it had a smaller screen however through smart marketing this product also sold very well. The thing is that if you watch Tv and you see somebody cool or sexy using it they make you think that you will become sexy or cool having it. They make you spend hundred of dollars buying stuff that you don't really need. At the end they don't realyl care as long as you keep paying their vacations and their luxury cars which they're probably enjoying right now. Well just to cut this short just think for a minute how this society is . We must make our lives so we can be happy not follow what other people want out of us. Please dont become a robot.
